Simple, elegant, perfect

No ads, great interface, wonderful little app. It has a large number of complex increment timer modes available, but I use it as a simple chess clock and its great.

Fantastic free chess clock

Works perfect, with no problems or ads. It would be nice to set different times for each side, but I would expect to pay for that. It really is just a clean, effective, well-designed app. I play against my little kids with it; I get 5 mins. and they get unlimited. I hit pause to end my turn, and they hit their clock to run my time. Works well.

Crashing

Crashing on launch

cant turn OFF the sound

please add this feature so i can use this in my chess tournaments

Simple

Very easy to operate.

Hourglass?

I am wondering if they can add an hourglass mode, where for every second the opponent loses, the player gains and visa versa. Plz plz plz

Excellent!!!

Super simple. Works great on my iPhone or iPad. Just bought an Omcor clock for our son for Christmas then found the App for the chess clock. So much better, faster and easier to set up. Will be returning the new clock and using this exclusively. Plus, so much easier to travel with since its on your phone.

Customers dont know about this

There is a way to set a different timer.

Not for rated tournaments

This is a great program for casual and club games. Be aware that NO smart phone or iPad clocks are legal for use in official USCF-rated tournaments at this time.

Update for 6 series displays?

Update: No response for months! I really like the main chess.com app. This clock is great for its simplicity. While the clock display scales fine on 6s Plus, it is very obvious that the app hasnt been compiled for 6 series when using the onscreen keyboard. This looks terrible and is clunky to type on. Makes chess.com look bad :( Also found a couple of bugs: 1) From Settings select New Time Control then enter a name but do not press Done, next change the increment, the name will now be blank. 2) Edit an existing time control or start a new one with more than one stage. Select Stage 1, edit Moves then select Time, next return to Stage 1 (no change of time is even necessary), Moves will now be blank. Original review: Needs to be updated for the new screens, and with all those pixels maybe show the delay time too!

Pretty Good

The clock is almost perfect. The one problem is it wont let different time styles in each increment. For instance instance the FIDE classical tournament format where the first increment is not Fischer style. Then after 40 moves it is Fischer style.
